Answer both questions in paragraph form using material from the power points
Part A: It seems reasonable and un-problematic to say that we may be loyal to other human beings because they are persons with wants, desires, and a rich mental and moral life. But what about corporations? Is it possible to be loyal to a corporation? Are we loyal to the corporation or to the people within? Should people be encouraged to, or discouraged from, feeling loyalty to companies?
Part B: Discrimination occurs at many different levels. For instance, a university that has a limited number of openings for students must use some sort of discriminatory criteria to admit some students and deny other students admissions. This seems unobjectionable. If so, then the question becomes: When are discriminatory practices acceptable and when are they not acceptable and morally objectionable?
