Employee selling liquor to a minor (Criminal Law for CJ)

Under the statutes of many U.S. states, a bar owner is criminally liable when an employee-bartender sells liquor to juveniles.  What if the bar owner instructs the bartender not to sell liquor to juveniles, but the bartender disregards those instructions and sells to juveniles anyway?  Should the owner then be held criminally liable? Why or why not?

Write a well-developed 1-2 page essay, putting documentation of sources on a work cited page if necessary. Essay should be no less than 300 words in APA format (7th edition).
