For this assignment, you will reflect on your personal grief reactions and develop ways to support a grieving person. Then you will read and interpret a poem and propose how you might support someone who is grieving by utilizing the poem to help them begin to recognize and move forward in their grief. Because these are personal reflections you are NOT required to post references; however, you may if you feel the need.
Part 1
Reflect on losses you have experienced in your life. How did you react to the loss(es)? Did you know they were coming (anticipatory grief)? Is there anything special that specifically helped you through this time? (a friend, support group, prepared meals, crying, etc.) Write at least a paragraph on this topic.
Part 2
Now that you have reflected on your personal reactions to loss, you will discover how you can support someone through their grief process. Choose one (1) method of support from the list and describe how you could use it to support a grieving person. Identify the person you are supporting: a parent, a child, a spouse, a sibling, a friend, etc. Provide a rationale for why you chose this particular method. Write at least one (1) paragraph.
1. Acknowledging their loss
You can support a person who is expressing mixed emotions by acknowledging that relationships are complicated, that both caregiving and being sick are difficult, and that having mixed feelings is normal.
2. Leaving room for silence
It takes courage and confidence to witness deep grief and stay present, perhaps only offering a gentle touch or companioning in silence. Sometimes the mere presence of another human can be comforting.
3. Individualizing care
Every grieving person has a unique grief experience and requires individualized care. Your compassionate response to each person will indicate that there are many normal ways to express grief and many ways to support a person in their grief
4. Making room for tears
Crying is a normal, healthy response to grief. Sometimes, other people’s tears will trigger your own. This is normal and can be very comforting to the other person because they can see that you understand.

As we begin our class, please think about how you believe modern psychology and Christianity/the Bible fit together. Truly take time to think about what you know about Christianity and the Bible, as well as modern psychology based on empiricism, and reflect on the following questions before posting your response to the question below:
Where do each (psychology and Christianity) get their truth and knowledge?
What are the goals of psychology and Christianity?
What happens when a psychological study suggests a scientific finding that opposes the Bible?
Where does modern psychology fit in the church?
Where does the church fit in modern psychology?
After reflecting on all of the above, answer the following question in this discussion:
How do you believe modern psychology as a science and Christianity fit together (if at all)?
You are encouraged to truly spend time thinking about these two fields and how you believe they fit together, if at all.

LITERATURE REVIEW Overview The treatment plans you develop as a behavior analyst

LITERATURE REVIEW
Overview
The treatment plans you develop as a behavior analyst must be evidence based. This assignment will give you the chance to explore and uncover a wide range of research-based interventions that will help you build your treatment plan. What types of behavior analytic interventions have been effective in addressing the challenging behavior? What are the theoretical underpinnings, basic concepts, and principles involved in these interventions? A firm grasp of fundamental concepts is needed to thoroughly understand the behavioral research that enables analysis of ABA case studies and real-life scenarios. Please refer to What Is the Literature Review? on Campus for a refresher on how to be a skilled researcher.
Instructions
Your assignment comprises two parts. Use the following subheadings, formatted in current APA style, to organize your assignment:
Introduction
In one paragraph, provide an overview of your plan for researching strategies for your individual case. At a minimum, it must restate the following from the Week 2 assignment:
Behavioral challenge, function of the behavior challenge, and outcome criteria identified.
Social significance of the target behavior and outcome criteria in your case study.
Research-Based Interventions
This section (7–8 pages) will consist of your evaluation of the literature you compiled. In this evaluation, you will identify, describe, and synthesize studies within categories of strategies as described below.
Antecedent-Based Strategies
Identify and describe three behavior analytic studies to support your antecedent-based strategies. At least one study will directly support the intervention you are using.
Synthesize the three studies.
Identify common, relevant ABA concepts, principles, and methods used in the studies and explain how they can be used to modify the behavior identified in your case study.
Explain whether the interventions in the studies can be considered compassionate and least intrusive.
Make sure to also address the external and internal validity of these studies. For example, did the intervention show a socially significant impact on the behavior? Did the study demonstrate generalization of the behavior change?
Compare the similarities and differences between the interventions in the studies.
Consequence-Based Strategies
Identify and describe three behavior analytic studies to support your consequence-based strategies.
Replacement-Based Strategies
Identify and describe three behavior analytic studies to support your replacement-based strategies.
Conclusion
In 1–2 paragraphs, provide a general summation of the interventions identified in your paper. Identify which antecedent-based, consequence-based, and replacement-based interventions you intend to use in your Intervention Support Plan. Explain how they are supported by the research you found. In addition, explain why it is important to use research-based interventions when creating a treatment plan.
